GOD PARTICLE AND BIG BANG are written in VEDAS

On 10/09/2008 an "Atom-Smasher" experiment started underground along the Swiss-French border to recreate the Big Bang. It is thought that it can unveil the puzzle & the eternal question, "How we all came into being?" As per one theory, only 4-5% of the universe's content is matter and 25% of it is invisible dark matter. As high as 75% of the universe consists of dark energy about which very little is known. The atom-smasher experiment could help scientists solve some of the above said unsolved queries. This European underground experiment is trying to recreate conditions that existed immediately after the Big Bang.

"God particle": Dubbed the "God particle" by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Leon Lederman, the "Higgs boson" is a controversial theoretical particle believed to bestow mass on all other particles. Higgs boson, or "God particle" is understood theoretically to be the basis of all matter as well anti-matter and dark matter. It is only a theoretical particle not yet observed.

"All world scientists hope to unlock the secrets about the atom, the universe and its origin with collisions of highly charged photons in the "Large Hadron Collider", located 150 meters underneath near Geneva, Switzerland. The Large Hadron Collidor is an experiment which will continue over the next 15 years, to replicate a miniature “Big Bang” that created the Universe.

Neutrons and protons are the best known particles. Scientists hope to discover new particles—Higgs-Bosons, also termed ‘God Particles’ , which they theorize are responsible for mass of atoms. The particles are named after Kolkata-born Satyendra Nath Bose (1894-1974 ) and UK-born Peter Higgs, both eminent physicists. The LHC is the largest and the most costliest experiment in the world ever at over $9 billion.

In one controversy 'God particle' theorist Peter Higgs has attacked his Nobel prize rival Stephen Hawking, describing his work as "not good enough". Professor Hawking once placed a $100 bet that the 'God particle' does not exist. However, Scientists believe the 'God particle' is crucial to understanding the origin of mass. Shortly after the big bang, it is thought many particles weighed nothing, but became heavy later on.

MY VIEWS: As per me, all the above said is only in the realm of theories of particle physics & till date there is no evidence of 'God particle' or "Higgs boson". Now I shall try to present my perspective whose basis is in the realm of philosophy. For me Great Indian book "Bhagwat Gita" is the greatest of philosophical book which answers all your queries from how this universe was created or how one should lead one's life or what is the truth of life & death. "Bhagwat Gita" answers all your queries. Now here I shall try to explain the truth about "God Particle" & "Big Bang".

As per "Bhagwat Gita" God has created this universe out of "Zero" or nothing. Sometimes God himself is also called "Zero" as Vedas tell us that "In the beginning was "Zero" or nothing & out of nothing or un-manifest aspect of God, came everything." Before the universe came into being, God in His "Zero" or un-manifest aspect was there & then He willed to create this universe. That "Zero" substance to which our Vedas call "God" is the source of Consciousness as well as Un-Conscious matter. He is also the source of Mind & Intellect. From this Zero aspect of God, on His will, He created two energies, one was called lower energy & other was called higher energy.

It is to be understood that it is only due to the WILL of GOD that whole creation takes place out of "ZERO". God in His un-manifest aspect just willed & hence the energies required to form this universe sprang out of "Zero" or "Nothing" or "God". Now it is these energies that are the focus of particle physics scientists. These scientists need to know that "God cannot be distilled in test tubes in laboratories" nor "God can come out of 'Atom-Smasher' experiment that has been started underground along the Swiss-French border to recreate the Big Bang. Pl. note that "Big Bang" started with the Will of God & also guided by His Super Intelligence. By just God's willing, Material Energy came into being which in turn created this vast infinite Space & later on out of Space came out the Air, Fire, Water & Earth. Unless until we consider & have faith in God with all His powers & His super Intelligence, we cannot appreciate the reality & truth about Big Bang.

As per "Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Seven verse 4,5,6" :
"Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego—all together these eight constitute God's lower (insentient) nature or energy. Other than this there is another, superior or higher energy of God by which whole world is sustained & is in the form of "Life principle" energy or spiritual energy . All created beings (animate or inanimate) have their source in these two natures or energies.

Now out of the above above two energies, "Life principle" energy or Spiritual energy or also called Soul, is the one which is Un-manifest & cannot be externalized in any case. Though it is everlasting, present everywhere within the space, unchangeable, immovable and eternally the same but still it cannot be Manifested or externalized.

But the other energy (lower one) can be externalized & has externalized the "Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space, Mind, Intelligence and also the Ego principle". This energy in it's initial & original form is called "Nature Principle" or even "Om". This "Nature Principle" in it's initial & original form is Un-manifest only & all these "Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space, Mind, Intelligence and also the Ego principle" that came out of it are only metamorphic forms of one another. This "Nature Principle" is the invisible divine power, the only doer, the sole causative & activating force that upholds all creation through vibration. "Nature Principle" or Om or the Word is the creative vibration that externalizes all creation. Now though "Nature Principle" is invisible power lying within the every atom of the universe, energizing & giving life to every atom of the matter; it is so subtle that it cannot be Manifested in such a form that it is captured by the "Large Hadron Collidor" in an experiment in Laboratory. We need to understand that such divine energies lying within the every atom of creation, cannot be manifested by such destructive experiments of "Atom-Smasher". I am of the view that though "God particle" exists in nature which bestow mass on all other particles but due to it's Un-manifest nature it cannot be seen with any machine. It is so subtle that it is beyond the view of any microscope or machine.

It is also called that God is a matter of faith & not of Intellect. The truth of God which lies within every atom of the creation, can be known by faith in HIM & by reading the philosophical books like "Vedas", "Upanishads", "Bhagwat Gita" etc. If someone really wants to experience such forces in nature & our creation, then that person needs to practice meditation & learn those techniques through which great Indian Yogis tuned their minds to Divinity & knew all those truths about God & Nature.

GOD PARTICLE mentioned in VEDAS

Scientists at the massive Large Hadron Collider under the Swiss Alps have easily replicated the innovative mini-Big Bang results of a previous experiment which created the ‘primordial soup’ of the just-born universe.
Super-hot ‘quark-gluon plasma’ is believed to have existed just nano-seconds after the Big Bang, and to have formed the stuff of galaxies, planets, suns, and all life forms. Such new data on the birth of the universe is pouring in from the experiments, leading physicists to consider extending the current phase of the project for two more years.
The new results took only days of colliding lead ions in the massive machine at ultra-high energies, and produced temperatures 500,000 times higher than in the sun’s core. The resultant mini-Big Bangs were even more intense than those caused using hydrogen protons during the Collider’s first seven months of operation.
The planned two-year extension could result in earlier discovery of the Higgs Boson particle believed to be the stimulus which changed the initial fabric of the universe, an amorphous mass of particles, into solid matter.

According to CERN Director General Rolf Heuer, scientists working on the project want to maintain the momentum of the new discoveries, as everything previously understood has now been confirmed and new territories are waiting to be explored. The ‘known unknowns’ are coming into view, and the as yet unimaginable lies beyond.
The Large Hadron Collider is at present being shut down for its regular winter maintenance schedule and experiments will recommence in February next year.

Om Namah Shivaya

The Shiva Mahimna Stotra is very popular among the devotees of Lord Shiva and is considered one of the best among all Stotras (or Stutis) offered to Lord Shiva. The legend about the circumstances leading to the composition of this Stotra is as follows.

The Composition (Story of Pushpadanta)

A king named Chitraratha had constructed a nice garden . There were beautiful flowers in this garden . These flowers were used every day by the king in worshipping Lord Shiva. One day a Gandharva (Heavenly Singer in the court of Indra, the Lord of the Heaven) named Pushhpadanta being fascinated by the beautiful flowers, began to stealthem, as a consequence of which king Chitraratha could not offer flowers to Lord Shiva . He tried very hard to capture the thief, but in vain, because the Gandharvas have divine power to remain invisible.

Finally the king spread the Shiva Nirmaalya in his garden . Shiva Nirmaalya consists of the Bilva leaves, flowers, etc. which have been used in worshipping Lord Shiva . The Shiva Nirmaalya is considered holy.

The thief Pushhpadanta, not knowing this, walked on the Shiva Nirmaalya, and by that he incurred the wrath of Lord Shiva and lost the divine power of invisibility . He then designed a prayer to Lord Shiva for forgiveness. In this prayer he sung the greatness of the Lord.

This very prayer became well known as the ‘Shiva Mahimna Stotra’. Lord Shiva became pleased by this Stotra, and returned Pushhpadanta’s divine powers.

The legend has some basis since the name of the author is mentioned in verse number 38 of the stotram. The recital of this stotra is very beneficial, therefore let its recitation be beneficial to all beings!

THE VIMANAS : the Ancient Flying Machines

The images found on the ceiling beams of a 3000-year old New Kingdom Temple, located several hundred miles south of Cairo and the Giza Plateau, at Abydos resembles modern day Air crafts.

Reference to ancient Indian flying vehicles comes from ancient Indian sources, many are the well known ancient Indian Epics, and there are literally hundreds of them. Most of them have not even been translated into English yet from the old sanskrit.

It is claimed that a few years ago, the Chinese discovered some sanskrit documents in Lhasa, Tibet and sent them to the University of Chandrigarh to be translated. Dr. Ruth Reyna of the University said recently that the documents contain directions for building interstellar spaceships!

Their method of propulsion, she said, was "anti-gravitational" and was based upon a system analogous to that of "laghima," the unknown power of the ego existing in man's physiological makeup, "a centrifugal force strong enough to counteract all gravitational pull."

According to Hindu Yogis, it is this "laghima" which enables a person to levitate. Dr. Reyna said that on board these machines, which were called "Astras" by the text, the ancient Indians could have sent a detachment of men onto any planet, according to the document, which is thought to be thousands of years old. The manuscripts were also said to reveal the secret of "antima"; "the cap of invisibility" and "garima"; "how to become as heavy as a mountain of lead."

19th Century Flying references

Shivkar Bapuji Talpade born in 1864, was a Sanskrit scholar. His birth place is Chirabazar at Dukkarwadi in Bombay. From his young age was attracted by the Vaimanika Sastra (Aeronautical Science) expounded by the great Indian sage Maharishi Bhardwaja.

 
One western scholar of Indology Stephen-Knapp has tried to explain what Talpade did. According to Knapp, the Vaimanika Shastra describes in detail, the construction of what is called, the mercury vortex engine the forerunner of the ion engines being made today.


 

Shivkur Bapuji Talpade's unmanned aircraft flew to a height of 1500 feet before crashing down and the historian. Knapp adds that additional information on the mercury engines can be found in the ancient Vedic text called Samaranga Sutradhara. This text also devotes 230 verses, to the use of these machines in peace and war.

The Indologist William Clarendon, who has written down a detailed description of the mercury vortex engine in his translation of Samaranga Sutradhara quotes thus Inside the circular air frame, place the mercury-engine with its solar mercury boiler at the aircraft center. By means of the power latent in the heated mercury which sets the driving whirlwind in motion a man sitting inside may travel a great distance in a most marvelous manner.

Four strong mercury containers must be built into the interior structure. When these have been heated by fire through solar or other sources the vimana (aircraft) develops thunder-power through the mercury. It is also added that this success of an Indian scientist was not liked by the Imperial rulers. Warned by the British Government the Maharaja of Baroda stopped helping Talpade. His efforts to make known the greatness of Vedic Shastras was recognised by Indian scholars, who gave him the title of Vidya Prakash Pra-deep.


Anti-Gravity Studies

The Indian Emperor Ashoka started a "Secret Society of the Nine Unknown Men": great Indian scientists who were supposed to catalogue the many sciences. Ashoka kept their work secret because he was afraid that the advanced science catalogued by these men, culled from ancient Indian sources, would be used for the evil purpose of war, which Ashoka was strongly against, having been converted to Buddhism after defeating a rival army in a bloody battle. The "Nine Unknown Men" wrote a total of nine books, presumably one each.

Book number was "The Secrets of Gravitation!" This book, known to historians, but not actually seen by them dealt chiefly with "gravity control." It is presumably still around somewhere, kept in a secret library in India, Tibet or elsewhere (perhaps even in North America somewhere). One can certainly undertand Ashoka's reasoning for wanting to keep such knowledge a secret, assuming it exists. if the Nazis had such weapons at their disposal during World War II. Ashoka was also aware devastating wars using such advanced vehicles and other "futuristic weapons" that had destoryed the ancient Indian "Rama Empire" several thousand years before.

 
According to ancient Indian texts, the people had flying machines which were called "Vimanas." The ancient Indian epic describes a Vimana as a double-deck, circular aircraft with portholes and a dome, much as we would imagine a flying saucer. It flew with the "speed of the wind" and gave forth a "melodious sound." There were at least four different types of Vimanas; some saucer shaped, others like long cylinders ("cigar shaped airships").

In 1875, the Vaimanika Sastra, a fourth century B.C. text written by Bharadvajy the Wise, using even older texts as his source, was rediscovered in a temple in India. It dealt with the operation of Vimanas and included information on the steering, precautions for long flights, protection of the airships from storms and lightening and how to switch the drive to "solar energy" from a free energy source which sounds like "anti-gravity."

The Vaimanika Sastra (or Vymaanika-Shaastra) has eight chapters with diagrams, describing three types of aircraft, including apparatuses that could neither catch on fire nor break. It also mentions 31 essential parts of these vehicles and 16 materials from which they are constructed, which absorb light and heat; for which reason they were considered suitable for the construction of Vimanas.

This document has been translated into English and is available by writing the publisher: VYMAANIDASHAASTRAAERONAUTICS by Maharishi Bharadwaaja, translated into English and edited, printed and published by Mr. G. R. Josyer, Mysore, India, 1979. Mr. Josyer is the director of the International Academy of Sanskrit Investigation located in Mysore. There seems to be no doubt that Vimanas were powered by some sort of "anti-gravity." Vimanas took off vertically.

Vimanas were kept in a Vimana Griha, a kind of hanger, and were sometimes said to be propelled by a yellowish-white liquid, and sometimes by some sort of mercury compound, though writers seem confused in this matter. It is most likely that the later writers on Vimanas, wrote as observers and from earlier texts, and were understandably confused on the princible of their propulsion. The "yellowishwhite liquid" sounds suspiciously like gasoline, and perhaps Vimanas had a number of different propulsion sources, including combustion engines and even "pulse-jet" engines.

It is interesting to note that when Alexander the Great invaded India more than two thousand years ago, his historians chronicled that at one point they were attacked by "flying, fiery shields" that dove at his army and frightened the cavalry. These "flying saucers" did not use any atomic bombs or beam weapons on Alexander's army however, perhaps out of benevolence, and Alexander continued his attack on India and was eventually defeated.

It is interesting to note, that the Nazis developed the first practical pulse-jet engines for their V-8 rocket "buzz bombs." Hitler and the Nazi staff were exceptionally interested in ancient India and Tibet and sent expeditions to both these places yearly, starting in the 30's, in order to gather esoteric evidence that they did so, and perhaps it was from these people that the Nazis gained some of their scientific information! According to the Dronaparva, part of the Mahabarata, and the Ramayana, one Vimana described was shaped like a sphere and born along at great speed on a mighty wind generated by mercury.

It moved like a UFO, going up, down, backwards and forewards as the pilot desired. In another Indian source, the Samar, Vimanas were "iron machines, well-knit and smooth, with a charge of mercury that shot out of the back in the form of a roaring flame." Another work called the Samaranganasutradhara describes how the vehicles were constructed. It is possible that mercury did have something to do with the propulsion, or more possibly, with the guidance system. Curiously, Soviet scientists have discovered what they call "age-old instruments used in navigating cosmic vehicles" in caves in Turkestan and the Gobi Desert.

The "devices" are hemispherical objects of glass or porcelain, ending in a cone with a drop of mercury inside. It is evident that ancient Indians flew around in these vehicles, all over Asia, to Atlantis presumably; and even, apparently, to South America. Writing found at Mohenjodaro in Pakistan (presumed to be one of the "Seven Rishi Cities of the Rama Empire") and still undeciphered, has also been found in one other place in the world: Easter Island! Writing on Easter Island, called Rongo-Rongo writing, is also undeciphered, and is uncannily similar to the Mohenjodaro script.

In the Mahavira of Bhavabhuti, a Jain text of the eighth century culled from older texts and traditions, we read: "An aerial chariot, the Pushpaka, conveys many people to the capital of Ayodhya. The sky is full of stupendous flying-machines, dark as night, but picked out by lights with a yellowish glare-"

The Vedas, ancient Hindu poems, the oldest of all the Indian texts and also world-wide, describe Vimanas of various shapes and sizes: the "ahnihotra-vimana" with two engines, the "elephant-vimana" with more engines, and other types named after the kingfisher, ibis and other animals.

Unfortunately, Vimanas, like most scientific discoveries, were ultimately used for war. Atlanteans used their flying machines, "Vailixi," a similar type of aircraft, to literally try and subjugate the world, it would seem, if Indian texts are to be believed. The Atlanteans, known as "Asvins" in the Indian writings, were apparently even more advanced technologically than the Indians, and certainly of a more war-like temperment. Although no ancient texts on Atlantean Vailixi are known to exist, some information has come down through esoteric, "occult" sources which describe their flying machines. Similar, if not identical to Vimanas, Vailixi were generally "cigar shaped" and had the capability of manuvering underwater as well as in the atmosphere or even outer space. Other vehicles, like Vimanas, were saucer shaped, and could apparently also be submerged.

According to Eklal Kueshana, author of "The Ultimate Frontier," in an article he wrote in 1966, Vailixi were first developed in Atlantis 20,000 years ago, and the most common ones are "saucershaped of generally trapezoidal cross-section with three hemispherical engine pods on the underside." "They use a mechanical antigravity device driven by engines developing approximately 80,000 horse power." The Ramayana, Mahabarata and other texts speak of the hideous war that took place, some ten or twelve thousand years ago between Atlantis, and Shri Rama using weapons of destruction that could not be imagined by readers until the second half of this century. The ancient Mahabharata, one of the sources on Vimanas, goes on to tell the awesome destructiveness of the war: "...(the weapon was) a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe.

"ANCIENT VIMANA AIRCRAFT" - a Contribution by John Burrows Sanskrit texts are filled with references to gods who fought battles in the sky using Vimanas equipped with weapons as deadly as any we can deploy in these more enlightened times. For example, there is a passage in the Ramayana which reads: "The Puspaka Vimana that resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother was brought by the powerful Ravan; that Vimana going everywhere at will .... that Vimana resembling a bright cloud in the sky." ".. and the King [Rama] got in, and the excellent Vimana at the command of the Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere."

In the Mahabharatra, an ancient Indian poem of enormous length, we learn that an individual named Asura Maya had a Vimana measuring twelve cubits in circumference, with four strong wheels. The poem is a veritable gold mine of information relating to conflicts between gods who settled their differences apparently using weapons as lethal as the ones we are capable of deploying. Apart from 'blazing missiles', the poem records the use of other deadly weapons. 'Indra's Dart' operated via a circular 'reflector'. When switched on, it produced a 'shaft of light' which, when focused on any target, immediately 'consumed it with its power'. In one particular exchange, the hero, Krishna, is pursuing his enemy, Salva, in the sky, when Salva's Vimana, the Saubha is made invisible in some way. Undeterred, Krishna immediately fires off a special weapon: 'I quickly laid on an arrow, which killed by seeking out sound'.

Many other terrible weapons are described, quite matter of factly, in the Mahabharata, but the most fearsome of all is the one used against the Vrishis. The narrative records: "Gurkha flying in his swift and powerful Vimana hurled against the three cities of the Vrishis and Andhakas a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe. An incandescent column of smoke and fire, as brilliant as ten thousands suns, rose in all its splendour. It was the unknown weapon, the Iron Thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and Andhakas." It is important to note, that these kinds of records are not isolated. They can be cross-correlated with similiar reports in other ancient civilizations.

The after-affects of this Iron Thunderbolt have an ominously recognizable ring. Apparently, those killed by it were so burnt that their corpses were unidentifiable. The survivors fared little etter, as it caused their hair and nails to fall out. Perhaps the most disturbing and challenging, information about these allegedly mythical Vimanas in the ancient records is that there are some matter-of-fact records, describing how to build one. In their way, the instructions are quite precise. In the Sanskrit Samarangana Sutradhara, it is written: "Strong and durable must the body of the Vimana be made, like a great flying bird of light material. Inside one must put the mercury engine with its iron heating apparatus underneath. By means of the power latent in the mecrcury which sets the driving whirlwind in motion, a man sitting inside may travel a great distance in the sky. The movements of the Vimana are such that it can vertically ascend, vertically descend, move slanting forwards and backwards. With the help of the machines human beings can fly in the air and heavenly beings can come down to earth."

The Hakatha (Laws of the Babylonians) states quite unambiguously: "The privilege of operating a flying machine is great. The knowledge of flight is among the most ancient of our inheritances. A gift from 'those from upon high'. We received it from them as a means of saving many lives." More fantastic still is the information given in the ancient Chaldean work, The Sifrala, which contains over one hundred pages of technical details on building a flying machine. India keen to promote Alternative Fuel Technology

India was taking serious steps to promote alternative technologies that used bio-fuels and solar and wind energy, a senior official said Saturday.
India also has plans to produce more bio-fuels and electric vehicles to save petrol for other vital needs, Sohail Akhtar, director in the ministry of new and renewable energy, said.

Presently 35 percent of petrol-based fuels was used up by the transport sector, he added.

Akhtar was inaugurating a two-day national conference on power, instrumentation, energy and control at the Aligarh Muslim University.

Earlier, Professor Mohibullah, chairman of the department of electrical engineering, said the department, one of the oldest in Indian universities, has a strong research base.

Mukhtar Ahmad, chairman of the conference, said the event was aimed at providing a forum to network, share and discuss new researches and developments in emerging technological areas.

Who benefits from the thrust on bio-fuels?
The conference received more than a hundred papers from various academic institutions spread all over the country.

Mohammed Rehan, organising secretary of the conference said the department of electrical engineering has sanctioned Rs.1.13 crore under the fund for improvement of science and technology infrastructure (FIST) scheme of the central department of science and technology to strengthen the power, electronics, drivers and instrumentation laboratories.

S.M.A. Rizvi, dean of the faculty of engineering and technology, and Ekram Husain, principal of Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology, also addressed the conference.

He is Mr. Narayanan Krishnan, an Indian chef who was turned into a social worker. He quit his career as a leading chef and began supplying meals to the homeless in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, beginning in 2002.

Krishnan founded his nonprofit Akshaya Trust in 2003, which helps to feed the homeless and mentally-disabled in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to 400 indigent and elderly people in Madurai.

He also provides haircuts and shaves to give extra dignity to those he serves.

During a visit to his family, before heading to Europe, he said,
"I saw a very old man, literally eating his own human waste out of hunger. I went to the nearby hotel and asked them what was available. They had idli, which I bought and gave to the old man. Believe me, I had never seen a person eating so fast, ever. As he ate the food, his eyes were filled with tears. Those were the tears of happiness."

Solar car developed in Delhi Technological University

With the ever increasing price of petrol in India, no matter what the international price of crude oil prices are, the need for alternative sources of energy is now on the high. While the electric bikes are soaring high in their sales, the domestic and industrial electricity comes from the grid which generates power from Coal and Nuclear sources giving off hazardous wastes into the atmosphere. Due to cost factor and non availability at all times, solar energy has a long way to go. The problem is not the use of solar panels at home, but the orthodox mentality to stick to the grid because devices in the market are standardized for use with 220V AC. However, necessity is the mother of invention and hopefully India will move slowly towards renewable and permanent solution to its energy needs.

Sri Devraha Baba

Devraha Baba was a siddha who lived for over 250 years, before entering samadhi in 1989. So elderly was he that the first President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, more than fifty years ago, said that his father had sat at the feet of Devraha Baba as a child - that is, in the middle of the nineteenth century - and Devraha Baba was already elderly at that time. Devraha Baba never took food, and never set foot on the ground. He lived in a unique hut that was raised off the ground by bamboo poles. This rare video footage was recorded for a russian television channel around 1987-1989, so it is not in English. A translation of the interview is below.

Reporter says: This is Devraha Baba, who lives on this wooden platform. He is not a robber or a psycho but a person highly honored and respected not only in India but also far from its borders. He was visited on many occasions by famous and rich Kashigy (?), Sultan of Brunei (?), artists and actors - Liz Taylor, Roger Moore; rulers of India that visited him were Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, and ministers of the government.

So it is our turn now to see him! Let see what is happening these are high power people from Delhi that brought their children suffering from diarrhea. Conventional drugs would not help them so these people are using alternative methods to deal with their problems.

Baba cures people using only words and by touching them using his foot. Up to 3,000 people come to see him daily, some for advise, some to get healed and others just to see him.

As we can see, people are sitting by the fence and waiting for when Baba would give them a sign to approach. It happens that people being sent away by means of his young helper. Rumors about this wise man spread from eastern India, state of Bihar in the mid-1950s, when a village was attacked by a pack of wild bears eating people. That is when Baba appeared from one of the huts and stopped the bears by raising his hand. Since then Baba was seen in other parts of India.

He could understand the language of animals, heal people by his look or word, give advice and tell the future. In the past he would do predictions of political future for whole countries. For that he was once arrested and only personal involvement of Indira Gandhi helped to get him out of the jail. Some say that Baba was her personal adviser during her last days. This holy man could not protect her but predicted the day she would die (she wrote about it).

Question by reporter: How old are you and do you remember your parents?

Answer by Devraha Baba: I do not have any age. I was born from the river Yamuna when it was blessed by Krishna.

(At this point somebody from the crowd commented that he is 200 years old or just under that.)

Question by reporter: People talk about the end of the world that is expected at the end of this century (this interview is dated to mid 1980s), can you comment on that?

Answer by Devraha Baba: This is a secret and the time has not come yet to reveal that. I can only say that what ever would happen will be good for the humanity, as I am praying for that.

Question by reporter: After such an answer we had little hope for our next question: What can you say about the future of the Soviet Union? And here a miracle happened as we got a long answer from this Person who does not even know how a radio or a newspaper looks like.

Answer by Devraha Baba: Litva has distorted the Baltics and the 3 Republics would separate, other Republics would follow up. You are going thru a difficult period of suffering but at the end everything will be ok as you will be purged. Your President Gorbachev will visit India this or next year. Let him come over and I would give a good advice to him and bless.

Question by reporter: Can we pass on your message to him?

Answer by Devraha Baba: No, let him come in person.

Question by reporter: Can we get a blessing from you?

Reporter says: Here there was a delay for about 15 minutes during which he would glance at us with one eye, greenish and bottomless. Meanwhile it was commented from the crowd that his last blessing happened about 1 year ago and that he does not bless when people ask for it. So we were about to leave when Baba decided to bless me. I am going to comment on my feelings while it is happening. They say that usually insulation is used between the foot and a head to be on a safe side.

Later When saying goodbye Baba told us not to leave Delhi quickly after we would return there. We forgot all about it and went off to another assignment. Just recently we found that a train near Bombay was derailed. We were planning to take this train. Well, it could be just a coincidence, or maybe not?

How 786 made its presence in Islam

Islamic critics should not forget that Hindu religion is 10,000 year old compared to Islamic religion which is 1500 years old and chances of some old Hindus starting a new religion are very much high. The reverse direction of arabic text might have caused the letter OM to be mirrored. Owing no religious significance of the mirrored letter, scholars best interpreted as 786 of devnagari script and it became 786, the holy number in Islam.
